For the License

There is a 24 hour residency requirement. All documents (birth certificate, divorce papers or death certificate of former spouse if applicable) to be received by the hotel at least 30 days prior to the wedding date.

Documents for Applicants

Occupations & Picture IDs of applicants required, notarized documents may be used, though originals would be better. Documents must be received by the Inn at least 30 days prior to arrival in order to process the license so that it will be ready upon your arrival.

Most Romantic Location

The bottom of the stairs that lead to the West Wing roof. It is right by the sea and makes a lovely backdrop for photographs and videos. The spot is spectacular at sunset.

"We specifically chose Jamaica Inn to get married and honeymoon because it advertised excellent service, privacy, serenity and a fabulous location. We quickly found, however, that the website doesn't do justice to the actual experience. Our expectations were continually exceeded on a daily basis. The Premier Verandah Suite facing west over the water offers a priceless view of the Caribbean sunset each night. The food equals any you would find in the finest restaurants in any large city. The service...what can we say? The staff is very attentive and genuine...many came to be friends by the time of our departure. The best of the best, though, was Tina (our Wedding Planner). She attended to every detail and ensured that we truly had a magical experience. Our only job was to get dressed and show up! She literally took care of everything else. Even though we traveled alone for our wedding, Tina and the entire staff celebrated with us and treated us like family. We can't say enough about our experiences.
