The quintessential Jamaica experience

Jamaica Inn is an institution where the atmosphere and standards have remained second to none over the years. It has never given in to the temptations of mass tourism and couldn’t be further from the typical package deal ‘all inclusive’ resort. It is more like a stay in a Jamaican ‘great house’ than a hotel, with tasteful local furnishings and decor, spacious verandas and no TV. Nestled in its own private cove with a fabulous beach, it provides a haven of peace and quiet where you are cosseted by a warm and welcoming staff, many of whom have been there for years. The common areas – bar, sitting room (well stocked with reading material and games) and restaurant – have an ‘old colonial’ atmosphere and you can enjoy your rum punch or glass of champagne amidst the photographs of famous visitors from the past. If it was good enough for Miss Monroe and Sir Winston, then it’s OK by me!

Simply The Best

Perfect stay for a weekend in Jamaica. Lovely owners and great service. The appetizers before dinner is a nice touch. Great food and drinks. The beach is clean and there is plenty of room. This is the only place to stay in Jamaica.

Epitome of hospitality, service and that idyllic beauty one yearns for on vacation.

My husband and I just tied the knot in Jamaica and were lucky enough to spend our first few nights as husband and wife at Jamaica Inn. With many guests and family also staying there, it was really the icing on the cake for our entire wedding experience. Our family made use of the Clear Water Villa, with its own pool and patio area, providing a perfect private meet up spot for the family. It was also the ideal location for our rehearsal dinner with a stunning sunset view, right on the ocean! The food quality and bar service were impeccable and the entire event was stress free.

Serenity and Friendship

From the moment you arrive you are treated like family. The setting is perfect as is the staff. The Inn is impeccable. Many guests visit repeatedly because you are treated like royalty the moment you arrive. The staff know you by name and are so polite and friendly. We look forward to our next stay. The food is wonderful. You can dine on your veranda on the beach or in the elegant restaurant. The tranquility is amazing. Everyone greets you with a smile.  The Inn is so wonderful that you will not want to leave. The spa is world class luxury. The Jamaica Inn is a perfect place to disconnect from your normal pace and just relax in a picturesque setting with zero worries. My wife and I love the Inn. Already planning to go back.

Classy and tranquil paradise

This was my second time to Jamaica Inn and it was just fantastic. We stayed for 10 days and I wished I could have stayed for a lot longer. The place and the ambiance is just amazing – old colonial style with classy buildings and people. No request is too small, the staff to guest ratio is great so you never want for anything. The food and menus keep changing on a daily basis so you never get tired of the food, and it is full of fresh produce. They are not stingy on the alcohol and there is a daily complimentary drink with our without rum, even if you are not on a meal plan, as well as complimentary tea/coffee and pre-dinner snacks. The service was impeccable, the place is clean and the groomed to a halt, the staff is attentive and the other guests polite and quiet. I would highly recommend this resort, it is one of a kind and such a beautiful, serene and great escape from reality. It is worth every single dollar 🙂
