Employee of the Quarter: Tavoy Gillespie

We recently caught up with the most recent of our Employees of the Quarter, Tavoy Gillespie to  learn more about what he does here at Jamaica Inn.
Tavoy has been with Jamaica Inn for three and a half years working in the very busy Purchasing Department. He works dedicates himself to receiving all goods and checking off products that come in from our suppliers island-wide. It can be a very busy day and teamwork is always required, as well as quick thinking and problem solving.
Having worked in the hotel industry for years, Tavoy loves the atmosphere of hospitality and hopes to continue working in this vibrant industry for many years to come. His goal is to continue to do more in the Accounting department. Tavoy has previously worked at two very busy hotels as a cost controller clerk at a Sandals Resort and SuperClubs. He loves to be in the midst of doing many tasks at once — receiving, checking, balancing figures and arranging payments for suppliers — but he loves the challenge of it all.
A newlywed who was just married six months ago, Tavoy’s hobbies are watching English soccer and he supports the team Manchester United.
