Good news for the winter traveler — it will be even easier than ever to fly to Jamaica! Several major airlines have expanded their service to Jamaica starting December 15, 2012.
Among the carriers planning to increase service to Jamaica are:
- Delta Airlines
- JetBlue Airways
- AirTran Airways
- Apple Vacations
Delta Airlines, which will expand to daily service departing from John F. Kennedy International Airport beginning Dec. 15, 2012.
JetBlue Airways will operate two daily flights from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport to Kingston (KIN) this winter, continuing service launched in the summer of 2012.
Also, AirTran Airways has increased its nonstop service from Baltimore Washington International Airport to Montego Bay (MBJ) from nine flights to 11 flights per week.
Finally, Apple Vacations will reintroduce a weekly flight from the Greater Rockford Airport in Illinois to Montego Bay (MBJ) between Jan. 28 and April 1, 2013.
