World Gin Day is a global celebration of all things Gin. Every year Gin lovers all over the world celebrate World Gin Day on the second Saturday of June. World Gin Day itself was founded by Neil Houston in 2009, a very bright idea to bring his friends together to drink gin in Birmingham! Since then, the day has grown year on year, reaching an even bigger audience. In honor of WGD, our Bar Manager Derrick Walker has put together his favorite gin cocktail recipe called the Singapore Sling, a tasty, refreshing summer drink perfect for you to try at home and celebrate with your friends and family.
The Singapore Sling Recipe:
- 1 ½ oz Gin
- 1 oz Cherry Brandy
- 2 oz Pineapple Juice
- A splash of Lime Juice
- A splash of Grenadine
- Topped with Soda Water
