Jamaica Inn Foundation – Backgammon Tournament 2016 – Silent Auction

Hello friends at the Inn!
We have more information on the Silent Auction that will commence on the first night of the Backgammon Tournament, Friday October 28 2016, and run throughout the events. Persons are not required to be participating in the Backgammon Tournament to participate in the Silent Auction. Bidding is open to the general public. The cut off for bids for the Silent Auction is Saturday October 29 2016 at 9:00pm and the winning bids will be announced shortly thereafter. All proceeds of the silent auction will be in aid of the Jamaica Inn Foundation’s objective to raise funds for the White River Fish Sanctuary and our #500in5 initiative.
A silent auction is an open auction where people write their bids on a sheet of paper, in $ increments specified or higher (or send a proxy bid to Belinda).The items for auction  and a detailed description of each item will be displayed by the relevant bid sheet. Once you have bid on an item, check back periodically to see whether you have been outbid. You will then have the opportunity to bid again. The bidding will close at 9pm on Saturday 29th October.
