We are excited to formally announce the addition our new sous chef, Glendon. We are proud and overjoyed to have such an exceptional chef added to our team, and we know you will be too! Glendon Foster has been with us for the past few months and is looking forward to our delicious selection of international and local cuisine served daily at the Inn.
We thought we would share with you some questions.
When did your passion for food begin?
My passion for cooking began at home while living with my grandmother at a tender age. She would teach us how to help out in the kitchen whether we wanted to or not. I eventually began to enjoy the same and started to create dishes of my own once I got older.
What is the most enjoyable aspect of being a chef?
The most enjoyable aspect of being a chef to me is planning a menu and seeing it come to life. The completed project is quite rewarding. I also enjoy receiving positive feedback from guests. I know then that we did a great job.
What three characteristics do you believe make a great chef?
- Being able to adapt to different areas
- Being a great team player
- Wanting to continually learn and improve
