We thought it would share some pictures of the amazing, unique and one of a kind New Year’s Eve Party that took place at The Inn.
All year Kyle and team have been hard at work deciding on a theme and in the end the “Era of Errol Flynn” and the glamour that goes hand in hand with that theme! Hence the evening was born, and our guests staying with us were asked to dress “Vintage Hollywood dress to impress.”
As guests walked in they were greeted with the “paparazzi” who took pictures of each person walking our “red carpet” to the scene at the end where they would pose just like celebrities do when attending an event. Pictures were printed and given to each guest to keep as a memento of the evening.

Server’s were waiting with pink champagne and Kir Royale’s at the top of the stairs where the cocktail party location was – and if you are familiar with the property – then you will know how beautiful and magical it is to be on top of the west wing’s roof for a cocktail party!
Scenes from a Bygone Era…dancing, ice sculptures, sky lanterns – it can only be a Jamaica Inn Party!
The scene all around was lights, camera, and action – with a huge flat screen TV at one end of the roof showing each person arriving to the party. Beautiful food stations were set up amid comfy lounge chairs, just like it would have been back in the Hollywood era of Errol Flynn days bygone. A lovely singer playing Jamaican tunes from that era also helped to tie in the magic.
Dinner was set up on the beach and the the sumptuous buffet stations around the pool and gardens nearby – with so much to choose from as usual – but this year had to have been one of the most breathtaking displays of eye catching ice sculptures, red lights dripping from the almond trees, and the juxtaposition of chandeliers hanging above dining tables, which were complete with red and black tableware. A sight to behold!

Post dinner, there was much dancing and laughs on the dance floor located on the beach, and the countdown at midnight was wonderful with guests cheering and sipping champagne.
Each table was beautifully adorned with flowers, red tablecloths and beautiful New Year’s Eve party favors
Each guest received a special sky lantern to light up and send with wishes up to the skies for a fabulous 2016 ahead!
Of course, it would not have been a Jamaica Inn party if it were not complete with the sky lanterns we have become known for sending up to the skies after special functions – sending wishes and creating that last bit of magic for welcoming in 2016!

Kyle, it looks like the Jamaica Inn team has outdone themselves with this New Year’s Eve party. These are fantastic pictures! Clearly everyone was having a great time!
