The White River Fish Sanctuary (WRFS) has partnered with the CB Facey Foundation (the charitable arm of PanJam Investment Ltd, supporting Education, the Environment and the Arts in Jamaica) to host weekly literacy classes for some of their wardens. The classes, hosted at Jamaica Inn started in early May 2019 and is open to both the local fishermen community and staff.
Participants are excited about the classes expressing thanks to all those involved. JI Foundation Director Belinda Morrow stated “we’re so excited to have the classes finally begin, I’m looking forward to the results. It means so much to us to make a difference in the lives of those we work with daily.”
