Creativity in Residence: Liv & Dom at Jamaica Inn

At Jamaica Inn, artistry, culture, and soulful storytelling are woven into the very fabric of our space. This summer, we were honoured to host renowned UK-based ceramic duo Liv & Dom for a week-long artist residency from July 24 to 30.
Art Meets Island Soul
Liv & Dom, sisters known for their dreamy, intimate aesthetic and whimsical forms, will bring their unique perspective to Jamaica Inn this July. Over the course of their residency, they will immerse themselves in the rhythm of the island, drawing inspiration from the natural textures, colours, and energy of Jamaica as they draw inspiration for their new collection.
Their time here will culminate in the creation of a bespoke capsule collection exclusively for Jamaica Inn. The pieces—hand-sculpted ceramics — will reflect the warmth and layered beauty of the Caribbean. The Jamaica Inn Collection will be available for purchase on Liv & Dom’s website later this year, with 100% of all proceeds donated to the Jamaica Inn Foundation, supporting environmental and community initiatives across the Ocho Rios area.
Hands-On Creativity: A Workshop for Guests
As part of the residency, Liv & Dom will lead a hands-on ceramic workshop for guests on Sunday, July 27, offering a rare opportunity to engage directly with their process.
Held on property with sweeping views of the Caribbean sea, the workshop will introduce guests to basic hand-building techniques and encourage personal storytelling through clay. Participants will create their own small ceramic keepsake during this intimate and creative session.
